Web Retainer Services

Perfect for businesses who need web design services on a monthly basis, but don’t want to hire a full-time designer.

Why choose a retainer program?
    • If you know that you will need design services throughout the year, but don’t want to hire a full-time designer, my retainer program is for you.
    • You get a discounted rate compared to my normal hourly rate.
    • You pay a set amount each month for the duration of your contract and don’t have to worry about fluctuating design fees.
    • You get access to a professional designer without the overhead costs of an employee.
    • You will get priority! Since you are paying in advance, a block of time is already allocated to you each month.
How does it work?

A retainer fee is like a monthly design fee. It is paid upfront each month before work is ordered. Essentially, you are paying for time versus a specific service.

Based on the retainer package you select, I will block out my schedule with the appropriate amount of hours each month and plan my workload accordingly. You have peace of mind knowing that you will receive a pre-established amount of work each month, without having to worry about what other client projects are ahead of you!

Web Design Retainer Details:

  • 3-month minimum commitment. At the end of 3 months, we will re-evaluate the program to ensure the number of hours are fitting your business needs. After that, we can move to 6, 9, or 12-month commitments.
  • Each retainer includes a set number of hours per week. Overage hours each week will be billed at the standard hourly rate of $50 per hour.
  • Unused hours can rollover to the next week if I needed but will expire at the end of month. This is to ensure that I can allocate time for your projects each week and plan my workload accordingly. During the beginning of the month we will discuss your desired deliverables and timelines for the month.
  • If work goes beyond your retainer package level then the fees will be added to your next bill. If I consistently use more hours then we will discuss upgrading your retainer level.
  • You will get an invoice on the first day of each month. The invoice will include the monthly retainer rate for that month and any additional charges from the previous month.

I would like to proceed, what do I do next?

1. Contact me for questions

If I have availability, I’ll set up a 15-minute phone call so I can hear more about your project needs. I want to learn more about your business goals and how I can help boost your brand even more. We’ll review your business needs and upcoming projects to ensure that a retainer package is right for you. Feel free to email me if you have any retainer related questions.

2. First payment

Once I recive your payment for the first retainer month, we will discuss all your projects needed for the month and get to work! Prior to the 2nd month, we will have a phone call to review the next month’s priorities.

3. Contract

I will send over a contract outlining my policies, expectations, and deliverables. The contract will state you desired time-commitment level and other information. This contract is to ensure that all parties are held accountable and will always be your resource for policy information that is subject to change.

3. Repeat

We will repeat the process each month for the remainder of the program you selected.

4. Reevaluate

At the end of your contract, we will review the program to see if you want to adjust the number of hours reserved each month before signing again.
